In art, there are many tools to be used. But all these tools are rendered useless when you are missing the most important one: inspiration.
Cheezy intro aside, this represents the dissatisfaction artists have with their work sometimes. Like Sai here, I can't help but feel annoyed and wonder what's missing (not in this pic specifically, but in general).
I don't actually have an artist's block. At least not right now. XD
My first impression was that Sai was drawing on the wall. And I was like, "SHAME!" But I love his drawing. For some reason I can see that adorning the buildings of are beloved cities, or straight up becoming alive and attacking me. ;.;
<3 His expression is awesome, but what really gets me is the effort you put into the background. It makes the enviroment more realistic, and helps with the theme. Now I just don't want to see you making a mess of all your tools like that yourself.
At some point, I'm sure everyone's drawn on the wall before. XD Myself included. Ah, those were the days. It's going to jump out of the wall and attack you of course. You silly. ^^
AND YES. The bg. Oh, the bg. xDI haven't paid that much attention to backgrounds since... ever. @_@;;
I like Sai too.
